Beds, cribs, sofas, kitchen/dining tables, chairs, dressers are available for Macomb County low-income families referred by a human services agency only. (Agencies wishing to register as a qualified referral agency to Furniture Bank may contact the Main Office Director or Assistant Director at (248) 332-1300.) The family is responsible for a $60.00 administration fee for all items picked up on the referral list. Some items are restricted to families with three or more members. Items are assigned a point value. There is ayearly limit of 12 points per family. A family selects the items at Furniture Bank and must pick up the items on the same day the items are selected. Priority given to custody and visitation court cases, families who have or are transitioning into stable housing after homelessness, domestic violence, immigration status, substance abuse recovery, fire or natural disaster, families navigating foster care and kinship care).
